Workshops for New Teachers
Many workshops compile a great deal of information that is only fully understood by experienced teachers but fall short in helping the aspiring music professional. The "Beginners Only" sessions are designed to help new teachers understand and apply Orff-Schulwerk pedagogy. Participants gain knowledge in basic Orff concepts and learn instructional strategies to maximize success in the elementary music classroom through the use of instruments, movement, singing, games, and more. These sessions are taylored to assist teachers with 3 years or less classroom experience, but all levels of experience may attend.
Student Day Camps

No matter what skill level your students may be, they are sure to get energized and build their musical skills through our special weekend sessions. Student Day Camps are held on Saturdays, typically, and are 8 hours in length. During the day camp, students are actively engaged through movement, singing, performance on Orff instruments, recorder, and ethnic drumming. Students also explore improvisation and creating Orff compositions. Minimum enrollment: 20 students. Teachers with participating students receive free camp instructional materials.
